This is one of those unique original games that is as fun to play the last time as it was all the hundreds, if not thousands, of times before. This cartridge features both the original version that I used to play on the Commodore 64 and a new modernized game with different worlds, cut scenes and an actual story line. Both versions have pleasant graphics, but in this game it's not about the graphics, it's the gameplay that's king. You must master different manuvers and patterns to "beat" each screen. It's not really furious non-stop action, but more real-time strategy. On some screens it's making sure you don't block yourself in with rocks. On others, it's making sure you kill or avoid enemies. The whole point is to collect enough diamonds to activate the exit and then still be able to reach the exit before time runs out. Did I mention this game is highly addictive? In both versions of the game once you have completed a screen you can always start on that screen at the start of a new game, unless you erase the game memory. Both games have their own flavor and "tricks" to learn. And there are different music backgrounds to choose from. I'd give this 11 stars, but the dial only goes to 5.Read full review
I bought this game a few weeks ago and have been addicted ever since. This is a hard to find game, and one of my childhood favorites, so as soon as I saw it I purchased it using 'Buy it Now'. The game has 2 modes, the new version and the classic version. Naturally, I am hooked on the classic and cannot put the game down. If you are looking for a great game, a puzzle game, a game unlike others, look no further- this is the one.
